Health Problems After Quitting???

ok, i quit drinking seven weeks ago. two weeks after quitting, i get walking pneumonia. now i've got a killer kidney infection (not bladder infection - a KIDNEY infection...very painful). i haven't had a kidney infection since i was 18. i'm usually healthy...i go years without catching a cold, etc..... i have never been this sickly. i thought quitting drinking would help me to be healthier! *grrrrr*

u've most likely weakened ur immune system over the years with the drinking that is what gives!and sobering up allows it all to come flying out of Pandora's box healthwise and many other issues wise!
