even i experienced th same thing...i had terrible muscle pains th day after heavy drinking...i'm not a regular drink...any solution????...its very painfull...pls help
The tremors would most likely go away, but the issue wouldn't if you're an alcoholic.
Also, you should be aware that each time you go through withdrawal, it gets worse. Its called withdrawal sensitization, or the "kindling" effect. And it freaking *****! I know Wikipedia isn't the best source, but here's a link on that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_withdrawal_syndrome#Kindling
You might want to read the rest of the alcohol withdrawal page, too. Its a pretty good basic breakdown.
For me, the period of time between first noticing the tremors and shaking so badly in the morning I could barely sit down without missing the chair happened quickly. Alcoholism progresses faster in women than in men, but I just want you to think about how much worse this could get, and quickly.
hi,
thank you for your responses. Seems pretty scary stuff. If I were to completely stop drinking for say 6 months. Would this start to reverse the process or is this something which is now irreversible and will only get worse every time I drink?
TY
hello. you are likely experiencing the beginning of a neurological rebound from excessive sedation by way of alcohol. as previously stated, you are on a dangerous path that can and likely will take your happiness and ultimately your life. in time you will likely begin to experience more tremors and eventually seizures from withdrawal. if you live through that, you can look forward to permanent nerve and/or brain damage, in addition to other complications such as liver failure and premature death. best wishes, gm
