Today as i'm typing this message i failed so miserably ....

After been sober for a month i came back just to get worst i started with  beer now im down to the cheapest vodka there is, now my mom and brother want me out of the house. I really don't want to be hospitalized as i was there three times within the last six months, i feel horrible i can't sleep, i feel so weak even just to go to the bathroom, im hearing things, seen faces that aren't real. I want to quick but i can't and now that i don't have any librium to control my shakes its like been in hell. alcohol runs in both my mom and dad side my grandma was an alcoholic, my grandfather was an alcoholic, my dad is an alcoholic( drinks every day). Now i don't know what to do, can anyone give me any advise on how to quit? I know going cold turkey can be fatal. THANKS IN ADVANCED.

you need help.......stop making excuses, if you need to be hospitalized then so be it.

you say you cant, I wonder.......... cant .......or ........wont.

AA is there for you should you decide to go to a meeting.

keep drinking and it will be fatal......

Hello. Good to hear from you. As stated, your best bet is to get medical help. I know firsthand how much hospitals are no fun, but you sound like you're possibly experiencing DTs which can be real trouble. I went through he11 myself with the hallucinations to the point I had to spend time in a psych hospital. You could prolly go to the ER, explain your situation, and be given a script for librium or ativan and be out of there in a few hours. That's what I did once. But my alcoholism is so far advanced that it involves more comprehensive treatment to detox safely. The silver lining to this it can serve a powerful lesson to you that it just gets worse If you drink after a period of abstinence. I know how bad you feel, but If you can remember this, such a memory could be one thing to remind you where you will end up If you take just one drink.

Cont'd. During the time you were sober, did you use aa or other aftercare? This is critical in maintaining sobriety, for most all alcoholics. Like I said, a hospital may not be fun, but its better and safer than trying to do it alone. You can get through this, and If you are willing to follow up, you never have to feel like this again. Take care, GM-

"Now I don't know what to do"...Yes u do...it is not what u want to do...it must be what u NEED to do for yourself.Boogieman and Rod have given u good advice.I hope u follow it....detoxing is not comfy in the beginning and we alcoholics/addicts detest discomfort....but u must xperience if u desire sobriety/sanity in your life.
