another one going down

a quick sad story....i went to help a friend this morning build a chicken coop...lots of gardens and farm animals these days because of this terrible economy were in...a really talented guy i have known for about 20 years now was also helping out...he's in his early forties ...he now needs a beer almost all the time...at 8 this morning he already had a couple and had 2 while i was there and who knows what at his house......i think he needs about 1 an hour to stay normal...i can see him going down and in 10 more years he'll most likely be out of here..he shakes if he doesn't have one ....his face looks like an alcoholic..he smells like alcohol...what a drag......the longer i don't drink the more i'm so glad i quit....billy

I have a friend in that exact same shape.  He is the nicest fellow and such a good friend.
His wife was a saint, she died in dec.   That almost killed him.  But, he wouldn't give up the beer for her and i don't think he's gonna do it for himself either.  It has sure taken a toll on him physically and he was and is such a talented carpenter.  It breaks my heart, but nothing i can do but pray for him.  tj

it is sad to see many we know continue 2 destroy themselves with alcohol.....and drugs.....it does make us grateful for stopping and maintaining our sobriety!so nice of u to help him but then i cyberknow u r that way!:))))
