dizzy the next night after drinking

I am 25 yrs old, I had around 12  drinks from 10pm-2am.  I woke up feeling ok, but at around 8 pm that night I began to feel incredibly dizzy, sudden moments of feeling like everything was spinning and gasping for a breath, tingling in my extremities and disoriented.  I have been drinking water all day and have eaten normally.  I also drank a soda for sugar intake.  I have a past of heavy drinking, quit for 15 months, and now drink 2-3 Times a month.  My question is what could be causing me to feel this way and is there something I can do to counteract these symptoms?

No, my friends and I had a DD.  I cannot believe I had a bac that high, I remember everything and I wasn't out of control in any way.  When I was a teenager I blew a .3 and consumed at least 5 times as much and was 15lbs lighter.  My tolerance is higher than that of a first time drinker.  Either way I was intoxicated above the legal limit.

i have a Breathalyzer callibration wheel. It figures out according to body weight for women what your .BAC would be in hours spent drinking, body  weight and number of drinks consumed in a certain timeframe.Your blood alcohol level would've been @ .32!that is triple the legal limit for intoxication!did u drive urself home?

I am surprised no one has suggested withdrawal symptoms. Depending upon your metabolism. I have learned in my vast rehab classes, that it can take an hour a drink to metabolize. When you awoke, you still had alot of alcohol in your system. I have actually blown a good amount at court in the  morning after drinking the night before (breathalzer) because of stinky alcohol breath. You obviously know how to counteract a hangover by your behavior during the day after drinking because of your past history. So, by 8PM the next day you are completely out of alcohol in your body. With the calculations of one ounce per hour, you ran out by 2pm. And who knows, if it was only 1 ounce per drink? By 8PM your body is mad at you. A common relief is more drinking, which gets you on the alcoholism roller coaster. Do you want to be on this ride? For a long time? You'd be better off taking up an extreme sport. Back country skiing, rock climbing, white water kayaking, sail-kiting. Much safer, more fun, and healthier than drinking 12 drinks in 4 hours. Come on???!!! You know better!
