end stage alcoholism

A dear friends daughter, 33 yrs old, is in hospital w/inflamed liver, pancreas,  pneumonia and they are now saying heart valve issues. She is an alcoholic. It is my gut feeling that she's in end stages of the disease.  Has anyone seen someone come back from this. She was told this A.M.that her daughter is the most critical patient they have.

All prayers are welcome and appreciated, thank you. She is now on a respirator. And they won't deal with her heart valve issue until or if they can stabilize her.

To be in that bad of shape @ age 33 from drinking indicates HEAVY alcohol use for quite some time!She would have to do a LOT of work to recover from that=medically,physically and emotionally!prayers for her family and her!

i have seen people come back from deaths door, from alcoholism after being yellow and hospitalized , each of us doesn't know if we have tomorrow , working a recovery program gives strength hope and peace to be accepting for whatever tomorrow brings,, i believe.
i have also seen that there isn't alot of chances after getting to that point, it is very important for the person to want recovery and to get healthy......
