my husband needs help with alcoholism

My husband use to drink all the time everyday on a daily base,now he may drink a beer every once in awhile. But now when he drinks, he gets red and face gets hot and hives are on the legs,arms and neck. and he also has trouble breathing. could someone please tell me what is going on with him, so I could help him.

When a person consumes aclohol it causes the blood vessels to expand and surface. hense causing the warmth and redness in his face. What concerns me is the hives and especially the difficulty breathing. He needs to be taken to a doctor for a blood panel drawn. This will help determine what is the cause. Take this very seriously and schedule his appointment. Absoloutly no more alcohol until this is figured out. okay? :)

Sounds like an allergic reaction.  I would see a doctor to try and find out exactly what is going on.  In the meantime I'd stay away from the booze.  Good luck!!

I'd suggest an alergy (allergy) to alcohol.  This is worth being looked at by a medical professional.
