pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name

pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name

We hit it off at once. Became friends and lovers almost. I gave you strength, courage, and the inspiration to go further. I did for you what you could not do for yourself. All I asked was to keep me close, more so than family or friends, as you see, you no longer needed them. In time, as we became better acquainted, I needed more attention, time and resources. But I was your best friend, so you didn't mind. I convinced you that you no longer needed your spouse, your home, or your children. Even your health couldn't hold a candle to my power. I was your answer to everything, a cure all for your worries, after all, everyone else was wrong about me. They couldn't give you what I did. But now you want your space, to end our relationship. But you will suffer from this breakup. I don't give up so easily. I will make you doubt the truth, and question your sanity. I have you chaos, but now you want stability.

I think the one thing boogieman would want is for us to stick with our recovery program and carry the message of sobriety to other alcoholics/addicts. This is the best way for us to honor his memory.

Even thru all his suffering he always told me to keep going and never give up.  This has made me work my recovery program even harder.  You are right in carrying the message of sobriety to others who are struggling....He is looking down at us and smiling~~~~~

Thanks Ray.  I needed to hear and feel this tonight......sara

We deal with a sad loss like this by remembering the positive impact they have on our lives

I was standing out in my yard the other nite....the dogs were out for last pottycall and the sky was full of stars.....our departed loved ones up there...2 leggeds and 4 alike.....boogie up there as well......at peace with no more earthy struggles. As the Beatles sang in Instant Karma as we all shine on....in the earth and the moon and the sun....on and on and on!my dad told my brother as he was dying and i think boogie would want the same....I want all of u to get on with the business of living!and like it or not....and many times not....we must...just keep forging ahead thru it all.

I have listened to the Beatles "Let it Be" a time or 2 since his passing.  The loss is great but i am focused more than ever.  I also believe the twinkling stars are our loved ones smiling down at us~~~~sara

sometimes i think there are those who are just too fragile for this world we live in.....and challenges is a nice word for the complications we deal with.i think he knew what he was doing...and we'll never know if it was his wish to depart.....but he was a smart man and knew he was dying a slow death.....an accidental one he didn't plan...and no human could've stopped him....no one!We cannot read others minds! And we are powerless over their choices!

When someone dies there are so many "ifs" but in the end it comes down to our decisions....
