xanax and drinking can cause a siezure?

hiii im 17 and ive been drinking alcohol every weekend for about 4 months and ive been taking xanax 4mg for once a week for about 4 months, since both drugs mess with your nervous system i was wondering if there is a goood chance of having a siezure ive been strssn about this for a while and i need answers asap thank you

Are these meds prescribed to you?  

I would be more worried about dying with what you are doing.  I am not trying to scare you just telling you the facts here.  Those are a deadly mixture.  Please get some help with this.  Really pay attention to what rpooo has told you.  He is only 38.  If you dont think this can happen to you you are wrong.           sara

Oh yes my friend! You must stop taking these pills immediatly Or if they are prescribed for you by a doctor and are necessary then you must continue the pills and the alcohol has got to stop!

You will find warnings on the bottle of most pills of this nature that they cannot be taken with alcohol.

Take care of yourself my friend, This is a dangerous road your trying to head down. Do yourself a favor and just Don't! I know 21 years from now probably sounds like a long time huh. Well I went down a dangerous road too. I'm 38 end stage (C) cirrhosis of the liver. Diagnosed 3/23/10
