Call the Midwife

I was bored last weekend and hit on a show on PBS called Call the Midwife.  Very female oriented in terms of lots of 'birth stuff' but really well done and interesting.  Loved it and HIGHY recommend it.  Touching in many ways.  Set in the 50's in England.  Watch it!!

I've watched "Call the Midwife" since it began and I'm a total addict.
The way they've captured the 50' in Britain is brilliant and the casting director deserves an award.
None of my friends had ever heard of it, so I'm glad there at least three of us who not only watch PBS but this show in particular.

If anything had happened to Chummy, I would have bawled like a baby. I LOVE her.

Hi there,

We watched ( my husband and I ) an episode of "CAll the Midewife" last
night on channel 61. What a nail biter, but it was very well done. My
husband liked the show too . I believe her name if Chummy almost died last ngiht. They really make the show look believable. I'm looking forward to watching future shows. Eve:)

Hi specialmom,

My hubby and I saw one episode of "Call the Midwife", not even the whole
show. We came upon the show accidently. I liked the show too. We plan
to watch it again when it comes on. Eve :)
