Unfortunately (she is 4 now) lately in that last 2 or 3 weeks she now breaks out in a rash and itchy skin when she eats anything that has tomatoes in it. We had pizza the other night which she has had dozens of times with no problem, same pizza, and she started cryingColic and crying Crying in infancy becuase she itched and she was breaking out in a rash on her faceFace pain.
I have an appt may 22nd for a second opinion and have her retested. But if this truly isn't a tomato allergy what is it.
Tomatoes are very acidic, your daughters reaction could be more of a skin sensitivity than a true allergy.
My son was this way with both tomatoes and oranges until he was about 6 years old.
