Celiac on rise
I read somewhere that more and more people are being diagnosed with Celiac - unable to eat wheat flour. How would I know if I'm having an issue?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Celiac disease is triggered by consumption of the protein gluten, which is primarily found in bread, pasta, cookies, pizza crust and many other foods containing wheat, barley or rye. If people with celiac disease eat food contain gluten, it causes damage to the inner surface of the small intestine leading to abdominal pain, diarrhea and malabsorption. This is diagnosed with blood tests and a biopsy. If you have the above mentioned symptoms on eating wheat, you can check with your doctor regarding this.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
