HCG Allergies

I have been doing HCG injections for nine days and i am starting to itch all over my body. Does any one know if
there are any side effects from HCG? Thank you. Joan

You may be allergic to one of the components in either the formulation or preservatives in the injection, or it could be something entirely unrelated.

The only way to know for sure is to stop the injections and see if you get better.

If you are also following one of the extremely low calorie diets that go with the injections, the itching can also be from that--those low calorie diets can cause serious systemic symptoms, too.

Thanks for your response. I stopped the injections today and all the itching stopped. The
HCG clinic said that it can't be the HCG and that I should NOT stop the injections for more than 2 days. I will start the injections again in a couple of days but will add more calories to see if that works. I don't care if I don't lose any more but I don't want to gain any either. I love the diet and have lost 25 lbs. in the past 3 months.  They say that your body get several thousand calories from the fat being released each day, but who knows for sure? Thanks again peelawho.
