Having had severe eczema since I was 6 weeks old, I can understand how you are worried. A couple things you should ask about are first: asthma; It is very common for one with eczema to have asthma as well, second: elevated IgE levels; as this may lead to other things (it is also suspected as the cause of eczema), third: impetiginized eczema, or basically bacterial infection, as this is very serious in infants. Most children outgrow eczema by the time they 2, or if not, 5 is another large checkpoint. And I am sorry that I can't comment on the eating issues, but good luck.

Hope I helped,
Schuyler
