I know this is an older thread, but a recent incident made me come back.

My mother is currently being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder (i strongly suspect lupus). She is being stubborn about seeing the doctors regularly, and has decided that changing her lifestyle and going organic will help her (don't get me started on that...) I was over the other night and saw her cooking with Organic chicken broth, thinking that it because it is organic it's better for her. She has always had reactions to food containing msg and preservatives. So i check the ingredients and listed is "organic chicken flavoring". Is this a fancy way of saying organic msg???
I can't believe how deceptive so many products are.
I'm trying to convince her to make her own stock and freeze it like we do. Does anyone know of any brands that have less junk in it?

You will need to copy/paste the url into your browser. The only links that are active in the community forums are links within MedHelp.

There is a lot of information on the web about this subject. I've done a bit of research on this subject over the last 24 hours, so anything I can share/answer, I'm more then happy to.
