mouth burning inside and cancor sores

the inside of my mouth and especially my tongue burn with everything i put into my mouth.  gum, ice cream, salsas, chips, hamburger, it doesn't matter, unless it's a cold pudding or cool drink, it burns like wild fire.  it has gone on for about two years now and i assumed it was a dental problem so the only doctors i have gone to as of this date are dental hygienests.  i in fact have an appoint at a college of dentisty in iowa city next month.  i eat well i think, i eat pizza, lots of milkshakes, primarily slimfast, broccoli, take supplements such as fish oil and vitamin b complex, zinc and vitamin e.  i don't get a lot of exercise but i take the dog for her duties a least 6 times a day around the office building where i work 9 to 5.  i clean my own home for the exercise, and i have ten grandchildren who i entertain at least a few of them every weekend.  I'm 51 now and weigh 152 lbs. which is a weight gain of about 30 lbs. for me over the past 3 years, and my mother died a lengthy tragic death in 2008, of which i didn't think had torn me down so badly, but i DO believe 3 years and counting later that it has cost me some of my immunity and therefore the problems internally.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Your symptoms could be could be due to local or systemic causes. Local causes like tooth infections, tooth abscess or periodontal disease. Some medications and fungal infections can cause these symptoms. also, certain skin disorders like phemphigus can affect the mucous membranes and cause ulcers in the mouth. Discuss these options with your consulting doctor.

In the meantime take OTC multivitamins rich in riboflavin to counter the mouth ulcers. Apply chlorhexidine  gel or any other oral anti septic gel you can find twice daily on your mouth ulcers and leave it on for 2 mins and then do warm salt water gargles. Drink or eat half hour after application.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
