nasty burps

I don't know .. rotten eggs seems sulphur based.

It could be due to what you eat or the acid in  your stomach.  If you are concerned, you should see a doctor.  He can test to make sure you do not have a bacteria in  your stomach causing this.

Have you eaten any eggs when this happens? The reason I ask is because sometimes if we are allergic to a food, our digestive system does not work as well as it should and the food can possibly ferment. I would see a doctor if this keeps up and inquire about having some food allergy tests.
