pain in spine and right shoulder when drinking Tequilla

I get a pain in my spine and right should when I drink only Tequilla.  I used to be able to drink it and now if anything has tequilla in it and I eat or drink it my right shoulder tightens and knots up and then if I don't take a tylenol right away it shoots down my spine.  The doctor thinks I am just allergic to Tequilla and should stay away from it.  I have and other alcohol does not bother me.  I just read an article in Womans Day Mag about a women who had weird pains when drinking alcohol and found out she had Hodgkins now I am not sure what to do since I haven't had pains since stopping the Tequilla.  Any thoughts on what I should do.  CT Scan?
