strange taste in mouth after eating

co5
I am a 60yr. old woman and, for the past couple of months, I have been getting a strange, sometimes metallic, taste in my mouth about 30min. after I eat something. Also, I occasionally get a feeling of numbness around the lips. I am not sure if this is allergy or digestion related. Any help in I dentifying the problem would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi, I've been experincing the same and had a look on the internet. I found a discussion on one web site where people were saying how they think that pine nuts may be the culprit. I've been eating a lot of them of late and have been experiencing the strange metallic taste after eating. Does that help at all?
