Hi, welcome to the forum, patients with this condition develop the rapid onset of a wheal or hives and flare reaction after firm stroking, scratching, or the application of pressure to the skin.

In simple urticaria i.e. in absence of itching no treatment is required.

If it is associated with antihistamines like citirizine or loratidine can be used against prescription. This helps to prevent such attacks. If skin is dry then you also need to use emmolients (such as hydrated petrolatum applied daily, immediately after bathing).

If above treatment is not effective then  H2 anti histamine can be added. In some patients sun exposure or exposure to UVB light treatment improved the condition.

You may have to take this treatment indefinitely if persists. I suggest you to consult dermatologist. Take care and regards.
