4 years of dizzyness

by dizzymommie, Apr 04, 2009 01:12AM
In 2001 I had a root canal that has gone bad (unknowingly because not one x-ray or exam has revealed this abnormality/infection in the last 4 years.) Then the tooth broke and they are wondering why because they didn't know there as a rootcanal in the tooth. and everytime I complained about pain I was shooed away and they say you need to see the med doctor.  The med doctor says that this was the dentist area.

When I finally got to a Dentist that actually had a powerful XRAY to show me what was going on not with the root of my tooth but above the root (this is the front left molar) he showed me the infection above the area no one ever x-rayed before.  The tooth never hurt because there was a root canal in it.  Around the Paranasal area there was blackness.  The Dentist won't continue with correcting the issue until that blackness goes away, infection. I want them to put a needle in the Para nasal area and squirt it with disinfectant/antibiotic like they clean a root canaled tooth.  Right now he wants to remove the tooth, I don't want to do this.  Since taking the antibiotic the dizziness has somewhat subsided.  I can feel it trying to come back but I am still on antibiotics and there is still infection by the Para nasal area, the doctor will give it six months before removing the tooth and replacing it with an implant.  So far the root canal that I got 3 days ago seems to be doing it jobs.  I didn't realize how much stress my body body was shielding my psyche from.

Up until now I have had to follow other methods to keep the dizziness from taking me over with headaches,a full head, etc.  Today I am waiting, is it going to start again?  Was this the answer?  I have an appointment with and ENT but after reading the people's results with the same dizzy issues after visiting their doctors. I don't have much hope, if this is not the end of my dizziness, for a solution.

I have only associated this issue with sinuses since seeing my x-ray last thursday.

I also suffer from allergies, sinusitis, & dizziness.  I have had this on and off for the past two years and yes it is terrible almost debilitating.  I have been to ENT, chiropractor, PCP, ear specialist and numerous tests (CT sinus scans, MRI's).  Everything came back to sinus infections.  Last bad one took 5 months to get over and lots of anitbiotics and steriods.  I will say that the chiropractor was the one to help the dizzy to subside.  It took about 4 months of treatment going 2-3 times a week (very costly too).  If anyone else has a suggestion of solution to this problem I think you & I would love to hear from them.  Just hang in there and hopefully you will feel better soon.  I keep telling myself the dame thing.
