Accurate Allergy Testing Please??

I have finally convinced my doctor to test me for food allergies, and I want to know what is the most accurate and reliable test for food allergies that would demonstrate any and all allergies I may have.  Also would this test show just food allergies or environmental allergies also?

i had kneisiology and found i was allergic to dairy products, eggs, garlic and sone medication i was taking. The test took twenty minutes

Is it a blood test?  Is it one that my doctor could conduct or would I have to go to a specialist?  Also does it demonstrate the degree to which you are allergic to the items, or just a yes/no sort of thing?  Thanks

Hi,

The commonly used are the skin ***** tests and the RAST - radioallergeosorbent test - which measures food specific IgE in blood sample.

You need to discuss them in greater detail with your allergy specialist.

Hi! I had a serum (blood ) profile of  basic foods( Corn, gluten, wheat,eggs, cows milk, seafood, peanuts, and a few other common foods) and found out that I was allergic to corn and eggs. You might ask your doc about it to see if that would be worth checking out! Good luck!
