Allergic Reaction - Unknown / Hives / Red bumps

Hello everyone and thank you for reading my post .

2 days ago I went to my appointment with a chiropractor to work on my wrist . I took the subway there and noticed my right hand was getting very itchy , I was scratching it for some time .... then while waiting for the bus , I stood with my hands crossed , and the itchy hand was touching my elbow , I have also touched the bottom lip with my itchy hand . Did not see anything sever going on at that moment .

Fast forward 15 mins later , Im in the office and they are asking me question / filling out forums .
I noticed my elbow which was touched by my itchy hand had blown up with red bumps , then my fingers started getting itchy ... next my bottom lip swolled up . I was worried so I canceled the appointment and went to the hospital .

On the way to the hospital I got more bumps and my lips got bigger . I went into emergency , they put me on a bed , checked me out and my back had Alot of hives , my head aswell . They gave me 2 shots and it all cleared up after a while . I stayed for 1-2 hours and was sent home .

I arrive home at 9 pm , sitting on my computer , around midnight I notice 1-2 bumps , I decided to sleep on it and thought it would go away and thought it wasnt a big deal .

5-6 am I wake up itchy and covered with hives on my back . I make another trip to the hospital , they take a look at me , had red bumps everywhere but not as much as the first time . They gave me my medicine , made me wait 1 hour to see how I reacted and determined I was good to go back home .

I bought some Reactive , allergy medication as prescribed by the doctor . Took 1 tablet and was doing OK today , I had a stuffy nose . sore throat aswell , got a cold from my sister most likely .

Its 1 am , and I noticed a few red bumps / small hives pop up , very minimal in size , Im trying not to itch them .

My biggest Fear is - My tongue swelling up / throat swelling up and I cant breathe .  I have an appoint tmr morning with a allergy doctor to see what I might be allergic to , but I was told not to take any allergy medication 24 hour before my appointment .

When little bumps / hives come up , should that be taken seriously or am I just stressing about it too much ?

Edit : I noticed around 6-10 small bumps / hives around my body and I took my Reactive medicine , will see how it goes . I did allergy tests when I was little and I tested negative for everything , I 22 years old right now .

Im extremely worried , past 3 days have been hell for me , always looking in the mirror to see if they are any new hives / bumps , scared to go out . Worst of all , I have no idea what Im alergic to / what caused the reaction , I didnt eat anything new , didnt use any new shampoos / perfumes , nothing  , everything was the same .

If someone could please help me out , Im just confused and not sure what to expect / if Im over reacting or not .
Many Thanks

Hello PolCan,

Welcome to the allergy forum. I see you joined Med help recently.
Have you see the allergy doctor yet? If so, have you got the test
results back ? Did you get a skin allergy test  or a blood test ?
Are you any closer to finding out things you are allergic to ?
Are you taking any medications ? These can have side effects like
the ones you describe. Also think about the facial soap you may
use to clean your face, things like shower gels, even the detergent
you use to clean your clothes. I wish you well.  Eve

Really hoping someone could give me a answer / advice : (

Just an update , its Sat , so 1 week since I had that allergic reaction , I've been taking prednisone and benadryl for the past 6 days . Past few days I also caught a cold , had a stuffy nose , sore throat . Past 2 days during the night I felt my throat feel tight , a bit more difficult then normal to swallow and take satisfying deep breathes .  Tight throat might be apart of my allergic reaction , Im really worried and will head to the ER tmr morning .

Please lmk your thoughts guys , thanks again
