Allergic Reaction to Beer????

I have a weird symptom when I drink beer only. I can hear my heart beating in my ears, like a "swishing" sound?

It's only when I drink beer...no matter if it's bottle, can, or draft OR what kind..regular or light.

It doesn't do it when I drink wine....and it can be one bottle or many bottles.

I thought it might be the yeast, but someone reminded me that  yeast is used in wine making too.  Some kind of weird reaction???   But to what??

By morning it is gone, but when I go to bed it drives me nuts.

and I don't get  hangovers, or sick,  just a little more tired than usual

Never heard of Woodbridge. I'll have to see if it's available in SW PA.   Thanks.

I'm not sure it's the gluten tho,  I eat lots of pasta (white and wheat, and seem fine with it.    It might be the processing of the barley.   I'll have to experiment.

thanks!

It's common to be allergic to the barely (gluten), hops, and/or yeast in beer. If it's only beer then it's probably barely or hops. Maybe you can experiment and look for a beer made without one or the other?

I don't know what kind of reaction this is, but I'd say your body does not like beer.  Try Woodbridge beer and see if you get the same reaction.  It's gluten-free.  It's like a watery dark beer.
