Allergic Rhinittis caused by Vicodin?

I have been taking vicodin for the last few years (3 norcos a day).   Last fall I got terrible allergy-like symptoms in my sinuses.  My instincts   told me it was from the norcos.  To give you and idea of how bad it has been,on a scale of 1-10, 10 being worse, my nose has been between an 8 and 10 for the last year.  I have seen three doctors and they can do nothing.  They just said I have "Allergic rhinitis"- an inflammation of the nasal passages.

Anyway.....has ANYBODY else experienced this WHILE taking vicodin.

I am no longer taking the norcos and quit smoking!  I am going to give my body 3 months to balance out before taking more action .  I am hoping to be able to breath again by 2010!!

Does anybody have any thoughts on this??

i forgot...
i am taking clarinex and a steroid nose spray.  the seem to do nothing.
