Allergies & Swollen Gland/Tonsil

I have had one swollen tonsil on my right side for about a month I would say now. I went to the ENT for complaints of allergy and they did the testing and indeed I had high reactions, lately I've been poking my lymph nodes under my jaw (which is something I have a problem/anxiety about) and It feels swollen on the same side as the swollen tonsil. I was thinking these two go hand-in-hand? My ENT told me not to worry because do to my horrible allergies that was probably the cause of my one swollen tonsils, he felt my glands and didnt say anything so now i'm working if I need to worry or not.
