Allergies and Elevation??

Allergies and Elevation??

Is it possible to have no allergies throughout your life and then develop them?  I moved from Nebraska to Colorado, and have been having little headaches, my nose is always stuffy, and ringing or slight sharp pains in my ears.  I went up about 5000 feet in elevation.  Would elevation cause this?  Does it sound like it could be allergies??  Please respond!

hello, I live in Nebraska, and Not that this would answer your question, but I have absolutley terrible allergies, and I work on the 28th floor of a highrise, and the Doctor states that my allergies can get worse the higher the elevation, and If you are 5000 ft up, I am sure that your allergies will be worse. I am surprised your allergies are worse in Colorado. Nebraska is a pretty bad place for allergies.all the best
