Allergies

I have large white spots and swelling on the left side of my throat. Negative results for strep and tonsillitis. The Dr. said it is from allergies, so we had test done. I am allergic to all the pollens and dust mites but no food allergies. I have been using fresh ground flax seed in my yogurt, so I stopped and the spots and swelling went away. Now it is coming back again, does anyone have ant idea what could keep causing this. I never had any pain or irritation with it before, but now I have a sore throat and more drainage.
