I have always had bad allergies. I am taking an allergy medication for them also. This year though I have developed a fairly regularRegular insulin cough. It is mostly a dry cough, but sometimes it is wheezing and I cough something up. I also have the feeling like I am breathing through a wet wash cloth. Or another way to descibe it is the air feels very thick. My mom developed asthma late in life. I don't think that is what is going on, but then again I am not a doctor. I don't have a problem breathing out, but breathing in. Any ideas?
I have just been thru a bout of bronchitisAcute bronchitis Bronchitis Bronchitis and normal condition in tertiary bronchus Cause of acute bronchitis Cause of chronic bronchitis Chronic bronchitis Croup Industrial bronchitis - my neighbor had it, my husband and me... my neighbor had a bad cough and cleared up quick - my husband barely coughed at all and it's gone - I haven't stopped coughing, wheezing and coughing stuff up!! they had to give me meds that they give people right before they send them into the hospital for pnuemonia (pneumonia)!! I took my last nebulizer treatment this morning!! It's been 2 weeks!!
So, what am I saying - all 3 of us had bronchitis but, suffered differently...maybe you should make sure you don't have a low grade fever and that you don't have bronchitis!
Whether or not you have asthma is perhaps not a good question. A better question I believe would be are you having this reaction from what you breathe in? I ask because I used to have problems with my air, and a colleague of mine told me about a filter that would help me out, and after I got it I didn't have the problem anymore.
What this filter does is it creates a static field around the fibers that actually attracts the the particles to the filter's fibers. I did the research before I bought the product and thus I understand why it works and that it should help others out and not only me.
The best place for price is at www.airlifeone.com. I'd suggest looking for the Electrobreeze brand which is essentially the same as the other product but is cheaper. Another thing I like about this company is when I've had questions they've always been easy to work with, which I've missed working with the other companies that I have.
Since you are wheezing now, it sounds like you could have asthma.
