Allergy shot reactions

Hello everyone!  

Went for allergy testing in November 2010 and began shots in December.  I've had six shots and feel worse than ever.  I tested positive for grass and weed allergies.  Went to see allergy Dr. Monday and had an asthma attack, the first one in 22 years.  I've been having fibromyalgia or possibly arthritis type symptoms (lots of muscle stiffness and pain with some cramping, joints are also stiff).  Dr. said that my body was having an immunological response to the shots.  No shots for three weeks and now he has added Singular and Symbicort to the Zyrtec and Flonase.  After one day on the new meds I feel much improved.  I've had no luck in finding info on this type of reaction to allergy shots.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?  Any help locating info would be great!
