Allergy to titanium
I've got lots of metal in my foot from braking my arch. After three years I have two pins pushing out if my skin. Hasn't broke surface but you can see them. I've had a rash around my foot and leg for over a year now. I am in fear I'm allergic to hem. I want them out but my foot still hurts from surgery in 2010. What do I do?

Hi, to begin with you have to re consult your doctor for an  assessment. He may ask for X rays or  CT Scan to see the status now, if the foot has healed well or if there is an infection or malalignment. Allergy to titanium can present as a local rash. The allergic response can be detected by skin testing. So, consult your treating doctor, he may then refer you to an allergist if needed. Warm regards.
