Am I allergic to marijuana ?

Why do I get higher than everybody when I smoke weed?
Whenever I smoke weed with friends, I get higher than everybody. I get so high mentally that I pay attention to the least detail and movement, to the least and subtlest beat in a musical song. Every second seems to last forever and I feel restless emotionally and mentally. I can ' t control anymore my thoughts and they seem to go on forever in my brain. I usually think about my life and career and I underrate my work and career advancement (in school).The world always seems a scary place and I get scared. I become very paranoid also and I cannot speak much. My listening abilities go to zero while my friends will be talking fast and smart. They will maintain the conversation while I stay mouthclosed. And whatever they say seems to come back slowly to me. Sometimes, I find myself repeating what they say word by word. Why is this ? I stopped smoking weed 4 months now . Anyways, I was not a regular smoker. I would do it maybe once or twice in a moth or less.

People could develop tolerance to the substance with time and may need higher doses to reach that effect. Weed or cannabis can cause psychosis, anxiety and depression. Your symptoms could be due to this effect also. With these adverse effects why do you continue to abuse recreational drugs. You can consult your primary care physician, who may then refer you to a psychiatrist if the need arises.
