All my life, I have suffered when getting bug bites. I say bug because doctors have never specifically said Mosquitos. Anyways, growing up I'd get hug whelps and itch like crazy. I'd always take benedryl which would knock me out. I am now 22 years old and this fall I got a huge bite. It was on my leg it had kept spreading really big. I went to the er because it was turning dark purple. after giving me meds it didn't go down. It had been growing 3 days and had pains in it. They gave me an epi and said I was highu allergic. I get them now even in the winter? It's so strange. I'm worried about the fact I don't carry around epi needles and they get pretty big.
