Hi bettyboop,

I don't usually site wiki-pedia, but I do go to them for basic info before moving on ocassionally.  Here is the link to their info on HCG.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_chorionic_gonadotropin
My thoughts in giving you that link is that it is a hormone that stimulates progesterone.  Hormonal changes are known causes of asthma flares.

Check this link out.

drugs.com is a reputible site for information regarding medications.  This information page is for woman using the medication to stimulate ovulation.  It tells them to alergy (allergy) their doctor if the have asthma.  It also says that one of the side effects is shortness of breath.

I hope that helps you.  My thoughts are that it is triggering your asthma.  You should be careful with it.

Have a blessed evening.
