Back of head hurts when over active, just getting over a cold

by Mel68, Sep 30, 2006 12:00AM
My son (3) is recovering from a cold he had for about 2 weeks.  He's much better with a slight cough.  Although for the last 4 days when he starts to get active, (running, jumping) he complains the back of his head hurts.  Once he settles down it goes away. Is it all just cold related?

Not sure if its the same thing or not, but 2 months ago the back of my head and neck began hurting. After a week of this, I developed bronchitis, which has now cleared, however the back of my head and neck continue to hurt. I find that if I run around or jump, or even if I get excited or anxious the back of my head begins to hurt. Even though the doctor knew I had bronchitis, he insisted that the head ache was from neck tension / tighness due to stress. I do not believe this and have made an appointment with the ENT specialist for further testing.
