If you breastfeed and eat say shellfish. Would it then be correctCorrect (new formula) to assume if you child did not react that they do not have a shelfish allergy and therefor you could forgo the recommended waiting till age 3 stiuplation and feed your child shelfish when they start eating solids?
I don't think exposure through breastmilk is the same as your child actually ingesting the food for themself. I remember when I was breastfeedingBreast-feeding tips Breastfeeding Breastfeeding - resources and my son started on solid foods the pediatrician told me a whole bunch of things not to feed my son, but did not say I should also avoid such foods. This sounds like a good question to ask your child's pediatrician at your next visit.
