The first thing for you to do is to talk to your pharmacist for OTC topical to help control the itching.  Some people recommend an antihistamine like Benadryl.

If you start breaking out in other areas, it will be time to see your doctor.  It is possible for it to become systemic which will require an oral steroid like prednisone or Mederol (methylprednisolone).

Feel better.
God bless.

Hi,
Thanks for the update. It is good to hear that the itching has subsided. This means that the allergy or irritation has been controlled. What kind of itch relief spray are you using? You can take it as prescribed or check the label about the indication,  how often and until when you can use it. Take care always.

how little are the bumps? If your in a warmer climate- it could be chiggers-

if they are chiggers, all you've got to do is take clear nail polish and paint over them. In doing so you suffocate them- My grandpa gets them all the time on our farm.

Hi,
How are you? Definite diagnosis of poison ivy reaction is through direct clinical examiantion and identification of the plant. Cleaning the affected area thoroughly with water, antihistamine medications and calamine lotion may help provide relief. However, if the symptoms persist, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
