Can't figure it out, What can it be?? Help!

About 1 month ago, is when this all triggered. I have normal allergies to everything in the enviroment. Pollen, mold, everything you name it.This year my allergies have been ok, other than some sinus pressure which I take over the counter sinus and cold advil and it works. I experienced mold in my apartment months ago and my throat closed, went to the emergency room. I always carry my epi pen with me. Well 1 month ago, I had sun poisening on my bottom lip. The next day my lip swelled but eventually went down. i used a lip gloss with plumper in it, and noticed a tingly sensation on my face. My gums were red and irritated. I went to the dentist and he said to take bendryl. I did and it went away. Last week, I thought I had a food reaction to a salad with a bunch of stuff in it, bc my lips swelled and again the tingly sensation.never used the plumper again. Took bendryl again, and went to the doctor. The doc said it could so many things to take claritan d non drowsy being I took bendryl and it knocked me out. In fact the day after I felt a tremendous heaviness in throat, face, head. Does this happen with benedryl? Well that went away. Now yesterday I was at the beach and noticed my gums getting all irratated again. Got home and my lips were red as well. i took bendryl. Woke up and again face, lips swollen. All day I have had heaviness all over my head, with a tingly sensation throughout my head. I made an appt with the allergist 4 tomorrow. Has this ever happened to anyone? its mostly redness of gums, swellen of gums and lips, and tingly sensation in face.

All I can compare your description to is my reaction to certain shellfish. Anything you put in your mouth that you have an allergy to could cause this. Try examining your diet for anything you ate in common during those days. It may not even be the exact same thing each time, but related items, or a food additive. New allergies can be sudden, and often get worse with each exposure, so you are wise to get the allergy testing done.

ok...I went to the allergist today, and she thinks that #1 the benadryl isnt good for me. It affects me for quite a few days. Next time I should just take claratan. She thinks its something im coming into contact in my mouth. Being the swelling and reddness occur within time, that whether its the sunscreen im putting on from the beach or just something thats coming into contact with my mouth. She suggests patch testing. For now, vaseline only on lips. She gave me nose spray for my sinuses. And the only issue im still having is the tingling through out my head. Not sure what thats about. She said tingling is usually from nerves. I am going to wait and see what happens in a few days. Go for the patch testing and hope that we can see what it is. Thanks for the comment.

Did anyone else experience the tingling in the head from benadryl?

I know a baby that is 2 months old and has been having congestion promblems since born it's a crackle in the chest but he doesn't have crackling in his chest here with me but he does when he goes home what could it be
