Chronic sinititus????

Just wondering if someone can help me out here.  For about three years now i started to develop colds where i would start with sneezing than a runny nose. For about a week or two it would stay as is and i would take flonase as recommended by my doctor.  A week after that it goes from yellow to green and back and forth than turns florencent yellow than orange because of the blood.  This never goes away on its own and is never just a cold.  I need an antibiotic every single time to get rid of this.  Is this normal. the pain usually is only on the right side, cheekbone and teeth. The last time i had this the antibiotic did nothing for me.   I did have an X-ray done last year.
it said Moderate mucosal thinkening in the right maxillary sinus may be chronic inflammatory or the result of early acute sinustitis.  No  air fluid levels are however seen in this sinus or remaining sinuses.  That is from a walk- in x-ray place so i am not sure how good the technician is.

Any ways any help wpuld be great.

I understand what you are going through.  Finally after 20 years of dealing with this to where I couldn't even sleep and the migraines etc.  I went to an asthma/lung doctor who did allergy shots and tried that for about 1/2 year which helped the systems a little. They found this when they did a cat scan for my migraines.  The test was for "sinus" and the report went back to the family doctor as "normal" but the radiologist didn't think outside the box.  When I got copies of the cat scan and took it to another doctor, she told me about turbinates and made it very clear to me it had nothing to do with my sinus path.  She did some injections but I really didn't care for her because she was all about how many times she could make me come to her office plus she was not nice.  

Then I went to another nose doctor who looked inside my nose, looked at the cat scan and told me he could fix me.  

After my surgery last year, I could smell again, food tastes better and I can breathe again.  They also fixed my deviated septum. I was diagnosed with chronic sinusitus for years but not one doctor (family practice) ever tested me for allergies or told me my turbinates were huge.  The surgery was quick and the recovery was great.  I only missed two days of work by having the surgery on a Thursday.

I cannot say that this is what is causing your issue but I believe that people don't get enough information and when they find something that made a considerable change for the better, it should be communicated.  Good Luck.  I am not a doctor by the way.

I think I may need surgery too. Could you give tell me what type of surgery you had? Was it submucous resection of turbinates or something like that?
