Im just wondering about cold hives. One day i took a really hot shower then almost immediatly outside in the middle of winter. I only had a coat on and i got these hives on my faceFace pain. After i went inside they went away. I have researched cold hives and the things that were mentioned about them like having trouble breathing and stuff never happend to me. I have done the ice cube test several times and no hives appear and im letting my arm warm up outside when it is around 25 celsius. I dont think i have cold hives during the winter i go outside every day when it is really cold and then warm up inside my house and no hives appear. im not really sure why these hives appeared.
You could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with your symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions to help soothe the itching.
Have you had allergic reactions in the past? Are you allergic to any specific substances?
This does not look like cold urticaria or cold hives but do consult your doctor if your symptoms persist.
Nothing can be said for sure without a proper clinical examination.
Let us know about how you are doing and post us about what your doctor advises.
