Cool air from Air Conditioners make my eyes burn and watery.

It started about 3 months ago after I had sino rhinoplasty surgery. It doesn't affect me in any other way, is there a permanent fix for this very bothersome condition?

I am 49 I do have pollen allergies which I've had all my life. I don't take any medications of any kind, don't drink or smoke and I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years.
