Cronic cough and breathing issues as the day continues

I am ok when I get up in the morning, but as the day goes on my breathing becomes harder to manage and I cough a lot.
I do have allergies to my cats and have been taking allergy shots for a few years since I developed this allergy after 1 year of having my cats.  I now have been checked out for everything from my heart to all you can imagine and they say my lungs do not sound like I am wheezing and I should not have shortness of breath, but every day as the day goes on and even needing to take over the counter allery meds, telfast prescription meds and inhaling a serverant disc and pulmicourt and nothing seems to be helping. I know it must not be allergies, but what can it be? I am perfectly fit; I eat really well, workout 5 days per week only weigh 110 lbs at 5'4" in height.  This is not normal and I am not imagining this either.  What do you suggest?

Hi

Medhelp.org offers a respiratory forum and you might try posting your questions there.  National Jewish is one of the top rated hospitals in the world for pulmonary problems.  They also offer a toll-free Lungline where you can talk to their nurses.

Hope this helps

Another thing that can help is you can cut down on the particle content in your air. Most likely by now you've found a solution to your problem, but perhaps you'll look at this forum again and I might be able to help you with my own experiences. For one, I used to have problems with the air in my own home, and I talked about this with a colleague of mine. She told me how most people's homes are actually quite bad environments to be living in as much as people do, and that I should take care of my own before I have an overly bad reaction from it. She pointed me to Polarized Media Filters, which I researched and found to be quite amazing products, and well worth my time to try.

I found quickly that my initial impression had been right and that I no longer had a problem with my air. Based on this suggestion and my research coupled with the results, I also readily suggest this course to you. It is a simple system which you place on your furnace and then plug into an outlet, which then transfers to a static field which pulls particles from the air to the fibers of the filter. It's a fascinating study, but very efficient.

The best place for price is at www.airlifeone.com. I'd look for the Electrobreeze brand though as it's cheaper than the other one and still essentially the same product. And if you have any questions I know from personal experience that the people are quite easy to work with, which is something I wish more companies would work on.

I hope that this has helped you out.
