Diarrhea and went into Anaphylatic Shock

Two years ago I also woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea, stomach cramps and then began itching in the groin area severly.  I then began itching in my hands, arms, face and my tongue was severly swollen.  Rescue was called and I was transported to the hospital.  No idea what caused any of this.  I to now carry around an epipen because of this instance.  

About a week ago, I had another eisode of the diarrhea, stomach cramps and itching in my groin area and hands.  Again, tongue was severly swollen and I once again was in Anaphylatic Shock.  Rescue was called and all is well now.  However, no one has a clue as to why this keeps happening.

The only thing I can think of is you have eaten something you are allergic to. If this happens again, and I sure hope it doesn't, write down what you ate, maybe this will give the doctors a clue. You could also have some hidden allergy to some chemical around your house and not even know it. You also could have been bitten by a spider those two times or some other insect in your sleep, this would sure cause the reaction if you are allergic to them.

I suggest that you see an allergist and ask to have some allergy tests run on the more common chemical, food and environmental allergies,may then they can determine what is wrong.
