Dizziness Not From Sinuitis?

I've been dizzy for 4 months. I only feel it when I move my eyes, head or body. Didn't feel any other symptoms. No nausea, numbness or fainting. General practioner diagnosed me with a sinus infection and filled eustacian tubes. Gave me rounds of anitbiotics and steriods. Dizziness and sinus infection continued, but doc said tubes were cleared. Sent me to an ENT. He ordered an MRI, CT and ENG. They showed a sinus infection and deviated septum (no tumors)but he doesn't feel they are causing the dizziness. So he is sending me to a neurologist. I'm scared to death at what he will find. I'm a 44 yr. old white male in good shape and up until now felt very healthy. I haven't had any head injuries. I'm also frustrated and scared that the sinuitis hasn't gone away. Any ideas? I've never been so worried or depressed in my life. Thank you.

I have many of the symptoms you describe here and I have had no help from the practitioner here, in fact we have no Doctors in my area one can see.I am taking nothing now as nothing helped me .I sneeze about 10 times everymorning and my nose runs at the same time ,I too get ear problems mostly in the left ear, tinnitus, aches and pains worse some days more than others.I have come to the conclusion its environmental from all the aerial spraying going on, I did some research and I here they do spray many toxins so they can dim the sun.Watch 'What on earth are they spraying'References:

4 years ago I got a sinus infection while cleaning out our factory that had been hit by a tornado. Needless to say, there was dust, mold, mildew,  fiberglass insulation,  asbestos, carbon fiber graphite dust,  Kevlar sanding dust, sanded paint dust,,,,,,,. I went to the Dr as soon as the nasal mucus wasn't clear, got antibiotics shot, steroid shot, not only didn't help but infection went into right ear. Severe pressure in ear, resulting pain from behind ear to front of face behind right eye, the dizzness,  nausea,  ddeafness,  tinnitus,  has gone on constantly ever since, change in barometric pressure makes it worse, a ride in an elevator of a few floors makes it worse,,,,,, despite seeing 4 ENTs, 3 Neurologist,  Chiropractor,  Kinesiologist,  Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalists,  a surgery to remove my tonsils,  adenoids and Styloid Spur over 2" long, 18 months with a tube in my ear, 4 steroid injections thru the ear drum into my middle ear,, 7 different drugs they thought "might" help...... I'm still where I was 4 years ago, minus a lot of money, a missed a lot of life due to all the symptoms, ,,, plus, many thousand miles on my Harley because you need an accurate sense of balance to ride.   HELP ME, PLEASE

Hi. You might want to try eriodictyol glycoside. It's a component of lemon bio-flavonoids. I had poorly diagnosed vertigo, tinnitus, meniere's disease, etc. a couple of years back. It was getting very bad.

I went to all the usual doctors described previously and all I came away with was prescriptions for antihistamines. However, one ENT doctor prescribed an over-the-counter product, Lipoflavonoid. It's a supplement.

I was very skeptical. I said so. She told me that some research had been done that showed it worked. So, okay, I'll try it.

To my great surprise and relief, it DID work. Apparently it works like an antihistamine and improves blood circulation in the inner ear.  Lipoflavonoid is a brand-name and is pretty expensive, so I found thru other online forums that you can get plain old Lemon Bioflavonoids for much less. I take two caplets of Lemon BIoflavonoids a day and my inner ear symptoms are nearly gone. Apparently--and you don't hear this everywhere--the eriodictyol glycoside is really only in Lemon bioflavonoids, not all citrus. If you buy just 'citrus' bioflavonoids you probably won't get relief. I use Lindberg brand Lemon Bioflavonoid Complex, and no, I don't work for them and this is not spam.

Look up eriodictyol glycoside on the internet. You'll see it's for real. It's the only thing that helped me. It helped with vertigo/dizziness and ear pain, specifically.

I was diagnosed with Labyrinthitis 2 months ago. I believe it was caused by an allergic reaction to multiple bee stings. The dizziness is worse when bending over or moving the head. MRI showed slight inflammation in the labyrinith and I was told it will "run it's course". I also lost all hearing in that ear. Although some of the hearing has returned the dizziness has not left. ENT does not want to give me medication as he says my other ear will compensate for the loss of balance. I have seen that some people have suffered with this for years! Hope yours and mine doesn't last that long. Good luck

Thanks Dietless... Did you at least get medication to relieve the dizziness? Has it come back after going away? I've noticed I've had very dizzy days and not so dizzy days which I don't understand unless your stress idea is correct. I'm seeing the neurologist tomorrow for hopefully some answers.

I experience the same.  I was diagnosed with an ear virus, which cannot be treated.  It will come and go (sometimes lasting for a month or so).  I find when I'm tired or stressed, it brings it on.  Get plenty of rest, move slowly when moving up or down, go to the gym and do a light work out (helps with stress).  My went away for almost a year.
