I am planning to purchase a hot tub for my home but after doing some reading and research online I have learned that some people have had reactions to the chemicals. In addition, there is some controversy about using an ozone system to clean and disinfect the water. My daughter has allergies, asthma and eczema. Any feedback would be helpful. thanks
I am very sensitive to chlorine and rarely go to our neighborhood pool anymore as a result. This is a public pool so the chlorine levels maybe higher than what you would need for a private hot tub. I would recommend that you research other options. Salt and bromine are other options for swimming pools. Would they work in a hot tub? I would definitely stay away from ozone.
