Dog dander question

Is it better to shave my dogs hair or leave it long, in regards to my daughters dog dander allergy?  I have 2 Yorkies and I usually only shave them in the spring, but I'm wondering if keeping them shaved year round will help.

Thanks,

No problem, if you notice it helps, then you kind of know where you have to go with it. You still will have cute dogs :-)

What you can do is shave them. If you don't have them and if them being cold bothers you, you can get them sweaters. I am guessing that you are asking because your daughter is still being affected somehow and you know the dog dander can cause it. I would shave them and see if her condition improves. If it does, then you know it's better to keep them shaved. If you shave them and the condition does not improve then it could be something else that is affecting them.

It's always better to be safe than sorry and you are obviously a great mom, so trying this first won't hurt and will probably help.
