When I was born I got stuck in my mother, causing my head to warp slightly.
un-noticed to all my doctors until age 15, i had a deviated septum.
I always thought not being able to breath out of one side was normal because i was never told otherwise.
and it did not bother me that bad for the longest.
but at 14 we moved to a new city further down south, when heat started to set in i began to have allergies.
My deviated septum caused mucus not to be drained into the lungs properly causing post-nasal drip down the wall of my throat.
this mucus infected the back of my throat.
when i was a little child as well, i had my tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy.
14 years latter we discover they grew back mucus gets trapped in pockets in my tonsils causing them to become chronically infected spreading to my adenoids.
tonsils presented intense pain along with allergy like symptoms for about 5 to 7 days in which time they stopped, although they were still badly infected no pain showed (or any other symptoms besides swelling) , this lasted for about a month in a half. while i was being put off & on to anti-bionics. after this period of time, just half a week or so after moving into a new home, i started getting chronic allergies again, coughing, hacking up mucus, large mucus build up again, pharyngitis.
at one point my doctor suggested mono as a problem i could be facing, but never spoke much of it.
Im about to have a tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and a septoplasty in about 3 days.
My doctor seems like he really does not know what is wrong with me, and i would really like some comfort in knowing if somethings wrong or not.
I am strongly thinking it is chronic allergies coupled with a deviated septum, only thing is, why did it take 14 years to start?
if anyone thinks they might know whats wrong with me, or has the same condition by any chance, please post.
