Eczema around the eye for kids

My daughter has been having the stubborn eczema for almost 2 years now.
It kills me to see her suffer.
It all started with a red, itchy thing around her eye, then it got worse, it spread to the other eye as well. so I brought her 2 different dermatologists, they both prescribed creams but none worked, they only made it worse! the skin around the eyes are now whiter than the rest of the face that I think is the result of the cream. It's still itchy, and I've been applying Vaseline to those areas but the problem doesn't go away.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Please and thank you.

Thank you Dr Rajput
I've been paying more attentions to the dry areas now that I'm discovered this website.
I'll do what you suggested, what you said is really reassuring.
Thanks again

Hi, welcome to the forum, her symptoms are suggestive of eczema or allergic dermatitis, secondary to exposure to allergen and mediated by IgE antibodies. Her body is known to hypersensitive to certain things.

You need to rule out the triggering factor like particular clothes she wears, any chemical agent like soap, detergent she is exposed to etc. This triggering factor should be identified and should be avoided. A skin allergy test can be useful.

Treatment includes anti histaminic and glucocorticoids against prescription. See to it that low potency steroids are prescribed on face.  Let her apply moisturizing agents to prevent dryness of the affected skin. She needs to take bath before sleeping, so as to shred the allergens. Do not worry; it will disappear over a time.

I suggest you to consult a skin specialist. Take care and regards.
