Face Rash possibly caused from Solodyn?

About a month ago I went to my dermatologist about my acne, and he prescribed me this medicine called "Solodyn" tablets, plus some sort of liquid topical solution called "Clindamycin Phosphate". So I start taking this for a week, and I the first thing I notice is that my face stings a lot where ever I apply the Clindamycin. A couple days after, I notice that I have little raised bumps all over my face. I assumed at the time that it was just the Solodyn working, because I heard somewhere that your acne usually gets worse before it gets better with these kinds of things. But eventually my mom got worried because it wasn't suppose to get that much worse and it should have gotten better by the first few days. So she took me in to see my dermatologist again, and when he saw me he was really confused why I was having a reaction like this. Since I'd taken Solodyn a few years ago and didn't get this reaction, he figured it was from the solution. He told me to stop using the solution, and continue taking the Solodyn tablets along with Cortisone tablets to get rid of the rash. I took this for another week, but the rash only got worse and worse. Now it's very red and the rash is all over my face, under my eye brows, starting to spred down to my neck, and all over my chest. It itches a lot, also. When I went back, he told me to stop Solodyn all together and gave me another Cortisone perscription and some topical steroid called "Desonide .05%". So I use THESE for a few days, but it still didn't show any signs of receding. My dermetologist said that Solodyn would stay in your system for a while, but it still shouldn't have had that kind of reaction. He said he's never seen a reaction like it before. If anyone knows anything that might help stop it, please let me know.
