Food Allergy Symptoms- But no Allergy Diagnosed!

I am a 21 year old female. About 2 years ago, I started to experience severe swelling of my lips, gums and throat whenever I eat certain things. It started slowly, with first just minor lip swelling, and progressed to the massive throat swelling.
The offending food items are:
All dairy, but especially yellow cheeses
Certain kinds of chips (I suspect this may be do to the presence of dairy in them)
Certain beers and champagne.

I know that this does not make much sense, but I went to see two different allergists who both tested me for food allergies and both said that I have none! I tested negative for any food allergy, including dairy, and I also am not lactose intolerant. But nonetheless, drinking champagne or eating ANY dairy whatsoever causes very severe swelling.
The swelling begins almost immediately after ingesting the food, and generally becomes more severe the longer the food is eaten. Once I stop eating the food, the swelling normally goes down within 30 minutes to an hour. Unless I eat American cheese, which cause a reaction so scary and severe that it takes hours for my throat to return to normal, and causes me to be unable to even swallow my own saliva.
This is a very big hindrance to my life, and I just would like an explanation.

Wow this is so similar to my daughters symptoms.  She has seen 2 allergist both times they did a scratch test and said she has no food allergies.  She gets the tingleling lips, then swollen lips.  She also gets rashes and hives sometimes.  she had hive all over her body when she was stung by a bee but they said she has no allergies..stupid.

She has this reaction all the time to tomatoes or tomato based products.  She has also found that when she eats wheat products she has swollen joints and sometimes hives bad headache.  

It is very very frustrating, she is also 21.  She is so mad and crying today because the 2 allergist told her to see a counselor...what a croc.
Let me know if you get any help...  seems no one can help unless it is a "BY THE BOOK DIAGNOSIS"  they just think your nuts.
